All riders are expected to wear long pants; jeans, riding jods or breeches are great options. Whether riding or having a horsemanship lesson closed toe shoes are required and boots or shoes with a heel are essential for riding. It is recommended that all riders wear a riding helmet while mounted; helmets are required for all riders under the age of 18. Bike helmets are not permitted as they do not provide the proper level of protection. Some riders find it most comfortable to wear a riding glove, although these are not required.
